Did You Know...

Did You Know...

Northfield was occupied as long ago as the stone age? We know this because a yellow Chert neolithic scraper was discovered in Quarry Lane and a stone axe-head has been found on Tessall Lane. These artefacts have been dated to the New Stone Age, which lasted from around 10,000 BC – 4,500 BC!

Thank you to all the people who have completed our Northfield survey so far - if you haven't yet had your say, please get involved to help us build a better picture of your community!
